Piano lesson books
Students taking Individual piano lessons will need to purchase books before the first lesson and bring a small notebook for writing lessons down. I like to teach out of different books for different ages because of the content and layout of the books. They are listed above with a picture to make it easier to find in stores. Click on the age level for the links above.
Ted Brown Music or Music Unlimited and sometimes Far West Books and Gifts will usually have the books you need, but not always online...you will probably need to go into the store.
For students that are continuing lessons and already have books, we will just pick up in the books you already have where you left off- no need to buy new books until we move up a level.
I also encourage my students to find extra music they enjoy playing and will gladly help teach any music they bring in addition to our lesson books! Just be sure it is the correct level.
