Miss April, Music Teacher
Hi! I'm Miss April! I am married to the most wonderful man and have four awesome kids. My family is my number one priority, but since all my kiddos are now in school, I am back teaching!
I have been playing piano since I was 8 years old and teaching piano lessons off an on since I was 12 years old!... and since I'm... a little past 29, that means I've been teaching for over 20 years! I LOVE music! I am constantly humming or singing. I think music is the greatest force for good or evil in the universe! Playing the piano helps me express what words cannot.
I love teaching children, especially teaching children music! I believe learning to play the piano can be fun and I like to play music games and have sticker charts with rewards for my students that work hard! I think the music theory is just as important as playing the keys. My students learn all their note names and race me for prizes. I look forward to helping you meet your music goals!
